The objective of this peer-learning was to discuss a pragmatic approach to outreach and good practices that may support the next steps in the implementation and expansion of the Youth Guarantee.

The objective of this peer-learning event was to support the five Western Balkan economies that were to commence the implementation of the Youth Guarantee (YG) for the first time in assessing their preparedness to move to Stage 3 (Pilot phase).

The peer to peer learning event was dedicated to the detailed analysis of the Youth Guarantee (YG) indicators framework developed by EMCO (aggregate indicators and youth guarantee service delivery system).

The peer learning event was devoted to Activation, with a special focus on long-term unemployed, and to Outreach. The participants were exposed to the different activation strategies, evidence on the effectiveness of job search requirements and strictness of sanctions, differences between tier one and tier-two benefit system, types of activation approaches applied by EU27 countries in the Youth Guarantee, including the principles of the EU recommendation on the integration of LTUs, EU practices and outstanding challenges.
