The Ministry of Economy and Labour and the Employment Service Agency of North Macedonia, with the support of the EU-ILO Technical Assistance Facility, will continue discussions on drafting a new Law on Employment and Insurance in Case of Unemployment. This initiative aims to adjust the legal framework in view of the implementation of the Youth Guarantee.

The second meeting of the working group will focus on reviewing the section of the Law regulating the active labour market programmes and measures and identifying key concepts and provisions that need to be introduced or revised to effectively support the implementation of the Youth Guarantee.

The event will be organized in Hotel Drim, Struga, on 02-04 July 2025.
